THE HIVERY COWORKING SPACE

The Hivery Coworking Space

The Hivery is an incredibly special coworking space located in the historic Fort Mason Center in San Francisco. When I first toured the space, it was occupied by the Mexican Art Museum and even housed paintings from Picasso. The space was all broken up into different rooms and the hangar doors were inoperable.

My vision was to completely open up the space and raise the doors so you could see the sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Unlike most coworking spaces, the Hivery prides itself on total inclusivity, collaboration, and community. It was important that we made the space feel extremely welcoming, comforting, inviting, yet not too precious.

The space needed to be extremely flexible so all furniture could be easily moved for events. We allowed the industrial shell of the building to be the hero and layered in warm wood accents, greenery, and crisp white décor to make the space feel homely and welcoming
